Mara Serena Safari Lodge

The Mara Serena displays the Maasai culture through the interior design of its accommodations. Three big domes and three smaller domes in the central eatery imitate local bungalows, or “manyattas,” while the 73 guest quarters burst with hues and patterns inspired by Maasai traditions. Travelers enjoy classic African cuisine each night, as well as barbecues and buffets. But the main attraction here is the chance to experience the annual Great Migration, when thousands of gazelles, zebras and wildebeest pour into the grassy Serengeti plains around the lodge.
