Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club

Late movie actor and wildlife conservationist William Holden founded the Mount Kenya Safari Club in 1959, and it immediately became a sanctuary for the rich and famous. Situated on 100 acres of stunning landscape along the banks of the River Likii, the 120-suite lodge enjoys the tranquil environs of Mount Kenya, one of the continent’s highest peaks. Classic wood-burning hearths and stunning baths are just some of the elegant touches here, where vacationers can play a croquet match followed by cocktails and appetizers in the Trophy Lounge or practice the two-step in the restaurant.
