Swala Camp

Wildlife enthusiasts will love the Swala Camp, tucked in a remote pocket of Tarangire National Park beneath a coppice of acacia trees. During the dry season, typically from June to January, elephants can be found congregating around the nearby waterhole. The camp is also treated to the presence of impala, waterbuck and lion, as well as a lone leopard who has a habit of showing up for a drink at dusk. Swala Camp's 9 private, permanent tents are outfitted with furnishings and fixtures created from local materials, in keeping with time-honored safari tradition. Meals feature a broad array of pan-African cuisine.
