Mfuwe Lodge

Mfuwe Lodge is one of the few lodges within South Luangwa National Park that stays open throughout the Green Season, allowing for more opportunities to experience the African wilderness. Each of the 18 thatched chalets that make up the lodge features en suite bathrooms, a private bar and a private deck overlooking one of two lagoons. Guests are welcome to enrich their safari with a library of books and videos to provide more information on the hippopotamus, buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion seen at the lagoons and on daily game drives. Mfuwe Lodge is ideal for an up close look at the local wildlife: walking safaris are offered and elephants pass through the reception area on their annual migration!
