Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Set on a hill with panoramic views over the Serengeti savannah, the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge combines world-class luxury with the effortless simplicity of the Serengeti's people. The 66 guest rooms are housed in stone-built, organically thatched "rondavels" and linked by winding paths in the tradition of the Maasai people. They look like giant acorn caps dotting the sun-drenched plains of the savannah. Inside, guests will find cool stone bathrooms and a blend of authentic African art and craftwork. The dining room complements this dramatic architecture, with high-domed halls supported by massive papyrus-topped pillars and ornamented with detailed Makonde carvings.
