Kenya safaris are available year-round, although the best game-viewing periods are during the dry winter months of May through August and the warmer spring months of September and October. Since Kenya lies on the equator, daytime temperatures in most parts of the country are consistently warm all year. The long rainy season lasts from April to June, and the short rainy season lasts from October to December.
