Please note that insurance coverage must be purchased prior to or within 24 hours of the initial trip deposit. Travelers must be residents of the United States or purchase insurance within the United States to be eligible for coverage.

This plan includes a Trip Cancellation for Any Reason Benefit

Cancel for Any Reason is included on all policies if you meet the following requirements:

  1. your payment for this coverage is received within 24 hours of the date your initial deposit for your Trip is received; and
  2. you are not disabled from travel at the time the you pay your premium; and
  3. you have insured 100% of all arrangements booked through the travel supplier from whom you purchased this plan that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions; and
  4. the Trip cost per person is no more than $10,000; and
  5. you cancel your Trip 48 hours or more Prior to your Scheduled Departure Date; and
  6. all insured travelers under your coverage cancel the Trip.

If you cancel within 48 hours of departure, standard trip cancellation coverage applies, such as:

  • Covered sickness or injury
  • The death of you, a family member or traveling companion
  • Common carrier delays resulting from inclement weather, mechanical breakdown or unannounced strikes
  • Jury duty
  • Your home is made uninhabitable by fire, flood, volcano, earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster
  • Being called into emergency military duty for a natural disaster
  • Documented theft of passports or visas
  • Being directly involved in a traffic accident while en route to your scheduled place of departure

24-Hour Emergency Assistance Services

Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion
This plan does not cover loss due to a pre-existing medical condition if that loss is incurred fewer than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date or during travel. Other conditions may apply.
