Governors' Camp

Governor’s Camp is located in the heart of the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. When it was established in 1972, the Governor's Camp set new standards for luxury in a tented camp. Nestled in a forest on the banks of the Mara River, it features canvas tents equipped with private verandas and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets. Great care is taken to provide comfort and top-notch service. Guests awake each morning to a full breakfast of bacon, eggs and freshly brewed Kenyan coffee, all prepared over blazing coals. Enjoy a buffet lunch served on the shady riverbank, and dinner under the stars.
