Lion Sands River Lodge
The Lion Sands River Lodge has been built on the banks of the Sabie River facing east, so guests can catch the sunrise over Kruger National Park. There are 18 luxurious thatched bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor and indoor showers and wooden viewing decks. The bedroom areas are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, mini-bars and direct-dial telephone access, and they are linked to the various public areas by elegant raised wooden walkways. The Lion Sands culinary experience is as diverse and interesting as the African bushveld itself. From buffets on the banks of the Sabie River under glittering starlit skies to fine dining under African acacias, the Lion Sands' chefs produce amazing dishes which always carry the distinct, exotic flair of local culture.
