Mount Kenya Safari Club
Founded in 1959 by late film star William Holden, the Mount Kenya Safari Club rests high on the slopes of Africa's second highest mountain. The Safari Club's 115 suites are spread over 100-acres of beautifully manicured grounds, just off the banks of the River Likii. Guests can follow a rousing game of croquet with hors d’oeuvres and spirits in the Trophy Lounge before dinner, and dancing in the Club Restaurant. Every room in the Mount Kenya Safari Club is tastefully appointed with log-burning fireplaces and sunken baths in commodious bathrooms.
