Meno A Kwena Tented Camp & Safaris origins go back to 1800s Africa! Meno A Kwena Tented Camp & Safaris operates out of our base camp on the banks of the Boteti Riverbed, (dry since 1995). During periods of above average rainfall, the Boteti River is one of the few drainage systems that carry the Okavango floodwaters out of this, the largest inland delta in the world, to flow into the deepest mantle of sand on the planet, the Kalahari Desert. The Boteti River lies right in the middle of these vast drylands, where water is priceless, and therefore attracting some of Africa's last remaining great wildlife populations. Meno A Kwena Camp is designed and built with traditional African architecture and cultural aspects. The camp is made from local and traditional materials, therefore making it seamlessly fit in to its surroundings. Meno A Kwena camp offers you the opportunity to explore the vast expanses of African wilderness and culture while staying in your own little sanctuary.
