Jack's Camp

Jack's Camp is at the edge of the Makgadikgadi National Park. Set into a palm grove, the camp has endless vistas of the rolling grasslands and huge salt pans. The ten roomy and stylish canvas tents are fashioned in classical 1940’s style. Complete with Persian rugs, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, the tents are an oasis of civilization in striking contrast with the rugged wilderness. Jack’s Camp is renowned for menus that emphasize fresh tastes and originality. Three course meals include such treats as fresh tomato and basil soup, ostrich piccata, roast Botswana beef, delectable orange tarts and impossibly rich, but light, chocolate puddings. The guides at Jack's Camp are often fully qualified Zoologists/Biologists, working on Ph.D. research. Together they team up with the Zu/'hoasi Bushmen to guide guests on morning walks and game drives.
