Tanzania Weather

Tanzania safaris are available year-round. The most massive game migrations occur in April through June and October through December. The best months to climb Mount Kilimanjaro are the milder spring and fall months of August through October and January through March. The long rainy season lasts from late March through late May, and the short rainy season is during the months of November and December. Due to its altitude, temperatures on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater are always cooler than other parts of the country.
